Brooke Anderson, Education Coordinator

-B.S. Social Work, Utah State University 2008

Immediately following College, Brooke moved to New York City to work as an Advocate Counselor at a high school for disadvantaged youth. While there, Brooke’s eyes were opened to the diversity of the world and how important the access to education is for everyone.

In the fall of 2009 Brooke’s husband enrolled in a graduate program at Utah State University. Brooke saw the opening for the Avalon Hills Education Coordinator and felt that her passion for education and advocating for accessible knowledge to everyone would be a good fit. She is an enthusiastic contribution to Avalon Hills and enjoys working with all the patients and their parents. Brooke understands how difficult it can be for those in treatment to accomplish their academic goals while managing so many conflicting needs. She works hard with each patient, their parents and their home academic setting to ensure they can succeed in their academic goals.

Brooke is married and is currently in the process of adopting a child from Kazakhstan.
