Education Department
Avalon Hills master’s level education coordinator is a part of the treatment team and works closely with clients and their home school districts to create individualized education plans. We are not deterred by obstacles in figuring out how we can help a client maintain positive movement on their educational goals even when schools are resistant to understanding the special needs created by the clients being away from home. We are proactive in finding distance education courses and providing educated and trained on-site tutors. The Education Department serves as a bridge between the client’s work on-site and their transition back into their local school/college environment to help ensure their success in recovery.
